EBENALP-CHLUS-SCHÄFLER-
ÖHRLIGRUEB-SÄNTIS

From the mountain station the route leads through stunning alpine flora to Alp Chlus (Chlus lift mountain station) and along a zigzag path to the Schäfler mountain inn. After a short, steep climb you go past the Altenalp "Towers" and Öhrli up to the "Blue Snow", which must be negotiated with caution. A further challenge is presented by the final climb to the top of Säntis, which goes along a steep path that is well secured with steel cables.
